My painting “Frisco 1351” is the
winner of the contest that was organized by Morton museum of Collierville, TN. Friends of Mtorton museum put a lot of hard work into restoring locomotive Frisco 1351 that’s located on Collierville square and it’s has been part of Collierville history. The biggest problem they ran into it’s removal of asbestos and lead from body of the train. It required significant amount of money. That’s when my painting “Frisco 1351” has been made into prints and sold to raise money for restoration of the train. The original painting will be permanently displayed at the Morton museum. If anyone interested in supporting project of restoration locomotive Frisco 1351 you can purchase prints from the Morton museum. You can find their info on Colliervillemuseum.org.
I am truly honored to be a winner of this contest.
